A growing demand for energy products required Noble Energy to consolidate its field operations into a single location. The client requested the building be designed as a prototype for their other oil/gas field operations, allowing for expansion and adaptability.
The building's mechanical and electrical systems are designed for 24 hour operation and adaptation to technological change in sophisticated imaging and computer data collection systems. From a single control room Noble Energy can remotely control over 7,000 oil and gas wells. The building allows for continuous training of their employees and outside contractors using training rooms, classrooms and a first of its kind a "Simulation Yard" utilizing actual oil well equipment currently being utilized.
