The Crescent Town Center pioneered the use of density transfer to create larger buildings with more open space. Through this concept, The Crescent differentiates itself from typical office developments where individual buildings are surrounded by parking lots and very little green space.
While each building in the project maintains its own identity, the emphasis is on the complex as a whole and the synergy between multiple uses, including offices, parking, restaurants, and a hotel. The eight buildings front a road that borders a crescent-shaped park, creating a cohesive architectural ensemble. Featuring a natural amphitheater, a large pond with a fountain, a gazebo, flower gardens and wetlands, the park is a popular outdoor community gathering place.
