BA won the design competition for the Master Plan and buildings for the 11-acre "Block A," known now as Regency Plaza. The winning concept was a cohesive master plan that included a hotel development on the adjacent site and turned the two properties into a small town center within the larger Denver Technological Center (DTC).
The Master Plan includes mixed-use office, public, and retail spaces connected by a central plaza, urban park and structured parking for 3,000 cars.
Regency Plaza One, the first phase of the Master Plan, is a 360,000 square foot Class AA office tower, with a curved parking structure for 960 cars. The human-friendly site plan, curved blue glass curtain wall, and precise, modernist, granite-and-glass grid of the Regency Plaza building create a distinctive landmark in the DTC.
